Amazon Selling Partner API data

When you connect your Amazon Seller Central account to our client portal, you authorise FastPrep OS through Amazon’s own consent flow. We never ask for, receive or store your Seller Central password or two-step codes. Amazon gives FastPrep OS an access token, which we keep encrypted and delete when our access ends; Amazon asks you to renew the authorisation every 365 days.

Through Amazon’s Selling Partner API we access only what our services need: your listings and catalogue details (SKU, ASIN, FNSKU, titles, images), FBA inventory and reports, your seller account and marketplace details, inbound shipment plans, their packing, placement and transport options and labels, fee estimates and FBA eligibility, removal orders and Amazon customer returns, and — only if you connect them for fulfilment — the orders you fulfil yourself.

How we protect this data: it is encrypted in transit and at rest; access is limited to staff and contractors on a need-to-know basis; each client’s data is kept separate — we never combine it across sellers and never sell it; it is used only to provide the services you have engaged us for, in line with Amazon’s Acceptable Use Policy and Data Protection Policy. If a security incident affects Amazon data, we report it to Amazon within 24 hours.

Retention: within 30 days after our access ends (you withdraw it, or do not renew it), after our agreement ends, or when Amazon asks, we permanently delete the data we received from Amazon about your account, except what the law requires us to keep (for example invoices and tax records). Our own records of the work we did (counts, scans, photos, box contents, weights and dimensions, product codes and the Amazon shipments we made for you) stay as the record of our service.

You can withdraw the authorisation at any time in Seller Central (Apps and Services → Manage Your Apps) or by e-mailing office@fastprep.co.uk.
